The New Cavendish Portfolio is a triple fronted, end of block site, comprising a number of individual properties fronting New Cavendish Street, Great Portland Street and Bolsover Street. All the buildings consisted of 6 storeys, of basement ground and upper floors.
In total the three separate buildings provide for about 28,000 sq ft of retail and office space.
Planning permission was granted for an extension to the retail unit at ground floor for New Cavendish Street, with conversion of the offices and addition of Mansard to provide 7 residential units on the upper floors. The site was subsequently sold to Oakmayne. Permission was also granted on the Great Portland and Bolsover buildings to provide a retail food store at ground and basement with a conversion of the upper floors from office to residential and addition of Mansard on Bolsover street side to provide 8 flats. The site was then subsequently sold to a private developer.
